The 163’7” (49.9-meter) Ileria is the latest launch from Proteksan-Turquoise, which previously referred to her as NB 56, her hull number.
The ABS-classed Ileria was launched in April, and she remains in Turkish waters as of this writing. Not much information is publicly available about Ileria, though she does have accommodations for 14 guests, though pullmans can increase that to 16. The interior should provide good elbowroom, given a beam of 30’5” (9.3 meters). J G Verges Design, a French design house that previously collaborated with Proteksan-Turquoise on Yogi and has also contributed to a number of other megayachts, oversaw the interior. Initial renderings emphasized a contrast between rich-toned woods and white fabrics and other surfaces. Outside, one of the highlights was the aptly named “Vista Lounge,” an observation area fully forward on the sundeck.
In keeping with other megayachts of her size, Ileria has transatlantic capabilities. Proteksan-Turquoise specified a best-cruise range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, powered by twin 1,100-hp Caterpillars. Ileria’s typical cruise speed should be 14 knots, which translates to a 3,000-nautical-mile range, still plenty for Ileria to venture to a wide variety of ports. The steel hull has a draft of 10’2” (3.1 meters).
