You’ll have to wait until 2015 for this Heesen Yachts megayacht design to become a floating reality, but YN 17145 is part of the Dutch yard’s semi-displacement series.
In keeping with Heesen Yachts’ practice, the LOA is indicated by the last two digits of the hull number: 45 meters, or 148 feet. She’s an all-aluminum megayacht designed by longtime collaborator Omega Architects, intended to achieve a top speed of 30 knots. As her styling suggests, YN 17145 emphasizes alfresco enjoyment a bit more than interior relaxation: 131 feet of usable space vs. 98 feet (40 meters vs. 30 meters, respectively). The sundeck alone stretches 59 feet long (18 meters long). But, that doesn’t mean you can’t throw a good-size party aboard. Two double staterooms and two twins can accommodate your guests below decks, while you have a main-deck suite, naturally. An intimate cinema and dining for 10 are also planned for the interior of YN 17145.
