Part of the Nadara 30 series, Zahraa marks the newest megayacht handed over by Admiral Tecnomar.
Zahraa has an LOA of 98 feet (30 meters), reflecting contemporary and classic styling. All design for Zahraa, like the rest of the Nadara series (including the Nadara 38, 41, and 45) is from Admiral Tecnomar’s in-house team, Tecnomar Centro Stile. Owners are still invited to put their imprint on their yachts, however, which the owners of Zahraa definitely did. The bronze paint job and bold red bootstripe make the megayacht stand out on the horizon. Inside, the decor is decidedly modern, with dark, rich wood tones underfoot and on walls, offset by light-tone furnishings.
Zahraa has a mostly straightforward layout, with a main-deck galley and all staterooms below decks. The galley location makes the crew’s job of serving drinks and snacks to guests seated on the expansive settees in the saloon much easier. Speaking of the saloon, it occupies most of the megayacht’s main deck, including space you would normally expect to see reserved for a dining table. Alfresco dining will be the order of the day aboard Zahraa as a result. (And truly, isn’t that what happens aboard every megayacht, even if there is a formal dining area inside?) Two doubles and a VIP take care of the guests below, joined by a full-beam master (above) that looks quite luxe. The large, rectangular ports you see along the hull of Zahraa designate all of those accommodations. A crew of four are housed fully forward.
Among the decor features that the owners requested are leather furnishings, including the barstools at the backlit, onyx-topped bar forward in the saloon. As the photo below shows, that lighting is done to stunning effect. Zahraa also has a variety of sunpads and dining/cocktail areas outside, some of which can be shaded with awnings. One area sure to be put to good use: the bow’s hot tub.
Admiral Tecnomar’s Nadara 30 series is intended to provide owners with a nice turn of speed, and Zahraa follows suit. She’s powered by twin 1,800-hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesels, allowing a reported 20-knot cruise speed.
