Her name is still confidential. Many details overall about this megayacht, in fact, remain confidential. Perhaps that makes Oceanco Y710, which splashed last week, all the more intriguing.
The photo here was taken as the yacht headed out for sea trials. Oceanco Y710 measures 290’4” (88.5 meters), with a beam of 46’6” (14.2 meters). If you’re familiar with Oceanco, then you’ll recall that this size fits in with its philosophy of focusing on the super-size superyacht range. To put her into better perspective, consider that Oceanco Y710 has a gross tonnage of 2,950.
The steel-hulled megayacht bears styling by Espen Øino, with Oceanco’s in-house team pairing with Azure Naval Architects for naval architecture and engineering. If you study her profile, you’ll note two sets of three ports aft by the waterline. They’re contained within a long hatch. That could yield access for a tender to launch, or part of a beach club. Note, too, a mixture of strong angular styling elements and rounded ones. The latter come aft on each deck.
Oceanco has not revealed the interior designer. For now, it confirms that Y710 has just six guest staterooms accompanying the master suite. Two of the guest staterooms are VIP suites. As for the master, it benefits from a private alfresco area containing a hot tub.
Oceanco Y710 is powered by twin 4,828-hp MTUs, for an anticipated top end of 18½ knots.
