Her nameboard may be taped over, but the newest launch from Kusch Yachts is broadcasting her name as IDynasty via AIS. She’s been spotted in recent days in Germany, following her initial launch last November.
Kusch Yachts is building IDynasty for a client of VegaYachts, the project-management firm founded by Richard Hein, who was also the first CEO of Oceanco. The 330’7” (100.8-meter) IDynasty bears design and naval architecture by another company belonging to Hein, that being The A Group.
Previously referred to simply as V853, IDynasty has a beam of 52’5” (16 meters). Few details have been made public about her arrangement. She rises six decks high and can accommodate 22 guests in 11 staterooms. A crew of 30 and additional staff of three to six will further be housed aboard. Interior design is by Studio Massari. No information is available about decor materials. Given her approximate gross tonnage of 4,300, however, IDynasty should feel voluminous.
Judging from the photos here, IDynasty appears to have an infinity-edge pool just above her transom. It’s also glass-fronted. The transom itself additionally appears to be arranged with a beach club, or at least a deep multi-use space.
VegaYachts states that IDynasty should see a 14-knot cruise and 17-knot top end. She’s powered by twin Rolls-Royce engines fitted with Rolls-Royce Azipull azimuthing thrusters. Range should exceed 6,000 nautical miles.
The keel laying for IDynasty occurred in February 2012. The delivery date hasn’t been publicized, but since final interior outfitting began last fall, it should be this year.
Given Studio Massari’s involvement and the yacht’s name, IDynasty is likely the successor to a 195-foot (59.3-meter) Benetti from 2008.
