Here’s a look at what’s just been added to the Megayacht News app:
Vitters Shipyard’s Marie. Classic ketches never go out of style, which is one reason why Marie (above) holds great appeal. The 180-foot (54.6-meter) yacht was created by Vitters Shipyard and Hoek Design to put regatta competitors in their place one day and treat her owners and guests to pleasure cruises the next.
Riva 122 Mythos. Riva owners around the world have been asking their favorite builder to offer larger yachts. The 122 Mythos exceeds the 100-foot mark. Styling-wise, the megayacht reflects the family feel of her smaller sisters, while inside she offers far more room to arrange as you so wish. Our app gallery of the first Riva 122 Mythos, christened Sol, shows just what can be done with a 28-knot, 35-ton sun chaser.
Ferretti 960. Introduced in 2013, the Ferretti 960 is the flagship of the Ferretti Yachts fleet. She’s also the first of the Italian builder’s offerings to feature a float-in, float-out tender garage. The Ferretti 960 further boasts a reported top end of 30 knots, with accommodations for 10 in the owner’s party. From the aft deck to the lengthy flying bridge, you can put your own imprint on the design.
Along with these new Gallery additions, you’ll find showcases of the following:
Classic Yacht Models. Maine-based artist Rob Eddy is regularly commissioned by yacht owners to hand-craft scale models of their pride and joy. Eddy devotes tens of thousands of hours to each project, using high-quality materials like mahogany and gold. In our gallery, you’ll get a look at the replicas of Maltese Falcon (above) and Atlantide, among others, which Classic Yacht Models has created. Pay particular attention to the intricately detailed propellers and deck gear, too.
Plus: ISA Yachts’ Silver Wind, Royal Huisman’s Wisp, Sunrise Yachts’ Atomic, Feadship’s Como, and four more galleries.
We’ve also updated the Builder Directory, Designer Directory, Charter Yacht Brokers Directory, and Marinas Directory, to ensure the Megayacht News app is your go-to resource for helpful information.
The Megayacht News app is available free from the App Store and Google Play.
