Long-range-motoryacht buyers looking to embark on their next adventure this fall can step into the newest model from Outer Reef Yachts as early as September. The builder has an 860 Deluxbridge under construction that’s available for purchase.
The Outer Reef 860 Deluxbridge is the larger of the two Deluxbridge series offerings thus far. (The other is a 720.) The series gets its name from a feature that hands-on, globetrotting buyers appreciate, that being an enclosed, full-beam pilothouse. As much as she’s a step up in size in the Deluxbridge category, though, the Outer Reef 860 Deluxbridge was actually inspired by the 86-foot Classic Series motoryacht. Outer Reef says the latter model has attracted a good deal of interest and subsequently orders.
The 860 Deluxbridge is at a stage of construction where some decor personalization can still be made. Already set is the general arrangement, which should hold broad appeal. It features a full-beam (21-foot, or 6.4-meter) main deck, for example. The 860 Deluxbridge further includes three guest staterooms and the master stateroom (full beam, of course) all below decks. Accommodations for four crewmembers are aft, with each of the two cabins containing a head, a nice touch. The crew also gets a small lounge with their own galley appliances. The primary galley aboard is a country kitchen, the ever-popular configuration among American buyers.
Further set is the propulsion and systems package: 1,140-hp Caterpillar C18 engines, twin 38-kW Northern Lights gensets, zero-speed stabilizers, plus bow and stern thrusters. Three thousand gallons of fuel should get you where you want to go, too.
