A few weeks ago we revealed the teaser of Stiletto, a design that Oceanco was to unveil at the Dubai International Boat Show. She’s the result of a collaboration with Ken Freivokh, the studio that currently has a megayacht in build at The Netherlands-based yard. It’s Project Solar, a DynaRig-equipped sailing yacht. The two companies came up with Stiletto as a creative concept to generate interest among super-size superyacht buyers.
Stiletto is also officially known as Oceanco DP069. Some of the yard’s builds follow that same letter and number combination. The 353-foot (107.7-meter) Stiletto bears a 50’2’ (15.3-meter) beam, which, if she ends up being commissioned, will be particularly appreciated in the two-level saloon. The grand entertaining area, with a balcony on the upper level, will rise an atrium-like 19’7” (6 meters) high. Ken Freivokh’s suggested arrangement is shown below.
Several other spaces aboard Stiletto are sure to attract interest, too. Rather than reserve alfresco areas for aft and upper decks, Oceanco and Ken Freivokh position one forward on the main deck, too. It’s steps down from the helipad. That helipad, interesting enough, ends aft in a striking waterfall feature, which faces the outdoor lounge. As for the lounging space, it can be shaded by overhead louvers and contains a bar and nearly 30-foot-long (8.2-meter-long) pool. If all the sun chairs are taken, there’s yet another pool fully aft, this one nearly 25 feet (7.5 meters) long.
To enjoy a little more couple time away from the 14 to 16 guests that can accompany them, the owners of Stiletto have a private alfresco area and hot tub on their deck. Should they prefer the bigger guest number, the VIP suite can split into two guest staterooms. Ensuring everyone is well taken care of, Stiletto accommodates a crew of 29 plus the captain.
Whether the owners wish to explore the usual Mediterranean and Caribbean ports or venture farther afield, Stiletto is engineered for long distances. More than 58,000 gallons (220,000 liters) of fuel feed the twin MTUs coupled to an electric motor. The hybrid power system will also recapture so-called waste energy, for even better efficiency. Stiletto should see a top end of 18½ knots.
Altogether, there’s 11,614 square feet (1,079 square meters) of luxury interior space aboard Stiletto and 9,451 square feet (878 square meters) of alfresco areas. Enjoy the tour:
