Invictus Yacht was established on two primary principles. First, to bring a bit more flair to the tender marketplace, through a collaboration with a well-established design studio. And second, to offer owners the ability to customize their craft down to little details, all on a hull capable of spirited performance. The Invictus 280TT is the latest in the lineup, reflecting the additional philosophy that a tender can be more than just a shuttle to and from shore.
How so? The Invictus 280TT has a cabin with a wet head. Given the ability to stay out cruising for several hours at a time, it’s handy. (Invictus Yacht says the Invictus 280TT can run for five hours at its 21-knot cruising speed, driven by a 320-hp Volvo Penta stern drive.) The boat becomes better suited for afternoons spent poking around anchorages, for example. With a reported 38-knot top speed, the boat can take you around plenty of those anchorages, in fact. Or, imagine you and several others going swimming and snorkeling off the swim platform. The 29-foot (8.9-meter) Invictus 280TT can suit these and other activities—even lunch on the hook, as there’s a refrigerator and a small cooktop near the helm.
Whatever you decide to do, you’ll have a fashionable boat thanks to Christian Grande DesignWorks. Invictus Yacht works with the fellow Italian firm for all of its offerings. Note the boat’s slightly reversed bow and smooth, softly flowing lines. Choice materials like leather can be incorporated on the U-shape settee at the bow and the helm seating.
Other nice features of the tender include an already-ample sunbed that can become bigger thanks to a rotating backrest. (The sunbed covers the engine compartment, so it lifts for maintenance.) With a 9’3” (2.84-meter) beam, the Invictus 280TT has plenty of room for you and seven other passengers.
All that’s left to do is to choose your color preference. Invictus Yacht has intriguing names for your options: Vanilla Sea, Attack Grey, Dark Shadow, or Personal White.
