Limo tenders strike the fancy of some owners. Still, a good ol’ RIB suits plenty of megayachts just fine. But, that’s not to say the RIB should be—or needs to be—plain white. Argos Nautic color matches its RIBs to your yacht’s paint, even the overall decor.
Based in Miami, Argos Nautic works with fellow Floridian company Facheris Design. The Argos Nautic 305 Yachting model shown here is the first offering. The four-passenger 10-footer (3.05-meter) is U.S. Coast Guard approved and meant for megayachts even with tight stowage spots.
The RIB can be outfitted in a variety of ways: teak flooring, a leather-wrapped wheel, and any of about 50 types of Orca Hypalon tube fabrics. Then there are the hull colors for the tender. Argos Nautic says it has nearly unlimited tones of gelcoat and paint tones. These even include metallic and pearly finishes. You can choose seating fabrics, too. If your RIB will get a good workout, or be used by the crew for provisioning and other supplies, consider off-white or tan faux leather. Argos Nautic additionally will cover the seating with any other fabric of your choosing. Again, you can make it match your megayacht’s decor for an even more individualized statement.
Every Argos 305 Yachting comes equipped with customary items like a stereo, stowage, custom cleats, and LED nav and courtesy lights. A 40-hp outboard permits a reported top speed of 31 knots and planing in three seconds.
Pricing starts in the low $30,000 range.
Argos Nautic will be exhibiting at next week’s Miami International Boat Show.
