Take a long look at Kleven Build No. 370, the extra-long megayacht just launched for famed yacht owners Graeme and Robyn Hart. All 381 feet (116 meters) of her slipped into the water on March 12.
If you’re familiar with the Harts, you’ll recall they’ve owned a handful of rugged megayachts each christened Ulysses. They took delivery of a 351-footer (107-meter) with the same name just last year, in fact, built by Kleven. And, they signed the contract for their new launch while the 351-footer was still in build. Just as they did with the smaller megayacht, the Harts attended the launch earlier this month.
Only a few details are public so far about Kleven Build No. 370. She, like her predecessor, features naval architecture by Marin Teknikk and Oscar Mike Naval Architects. The 381-footer will accommodate 66 passengers, quite the crowd. As the look suggests, she’s engineered for traveling quite awhile away from land, even in challenging seas.
Kleven plans to hand Build No. 370 over in July. It refers to her as an Expedition Support Vessel (ESV). The idea akin to a mothership, where a fleet of smaller craft are kept aboard for venturing to shore and enjoying shallow waters.
