About two months from now, the project known as Turquoise NB60, a.k.a. the Turquoise 47M, will be in the water.
The 154-footer (47-meter) represents a collaboration with H2 Yacht Design on both styling and interior design. The build and design teams set out to incorporate features more typical of significant-size superyachts. These include a voluminous beach club. Usually yachts of this LOA have a relatively simple, cozy lounge, or a spot more conducive to watersports. The Turquoise NB60 mixes a virtual second saloon and gym with an oversize swim platform. The whole area is larger than expected due to watertoy stowage on the foredeck.
Throughout the Turquoise NB60, H2 Yacht Design strives for an airy look and feel. Predominantly pale woods and surfaces highlight the 29-foot (9-meter) beam. Polished stainless steel makes an appearance, too. Augmenting the feeling further, nearly floor-to-ceiling windows line the main deck. As you might expect, H2 Yacht Design carries these windows forward into the master suite.
Unexpected, though, is the extra guest stateroom on the upper deck. The Turquoise NB60 welcomes additional friends or family just aft of the wheelhouse. The nine-person crew and the captain all get cabins below decks. The rest of the guests have accommodations below decks, too, with pullmans in each stateroom.
The Turquoise NB60 will be the 21st launch for Turquoise Yachts. (Launches 22 through 24 are in various stages of construction as well.) See what’s in store for a buyer (the yacht is a spec project):
