UPDATE, OCTOBER 31, 2016: Lürssen has confirmed the launch and provided a few additional details, not the least of which is the project name. Project Tis is her identity, at least for now. She measures 364 feet (111 meters) with a beam of 55 feet (16.85 meters). The six-deck megayacht also features styling and interior design by Andrew Winch Designs.
While we don’t know how many passengers Project Tis can carry, they will be entertained “on a grand scale,” according to Lürssen. The first hint of this comes at the transom, in the form of dual sweeping stairways. Inside, headroom is “generous,” the builder adds. Guests will have to wait until 2018 for the inside (and alfresco) entertaining to begin, however, as that’s the year of delivery.
One more quick fact about Project Tis: 11 short months have passed since her keel laying. We say “short” because, for a megayacht of the magnitude of Project Tis, it’s a relatively quick turnaround.

Dreary skies didn’t prevent yacht spotters from keeping a careful eye in Germany this week. They captured the moments when the Lürssen shipyard in Rendsburg launched a new project.
Confidentiality agreements are in place for nearly all of the builder’s projects. It therefore has not provided information about the LOA, nor even a project name. Given the dimensions, and the few known details about Lürssen’s order book, we’re estimating she’s around 328 feet (100 meters). This, despite the fact that the Rendsburg facility, one of eight for the builder, focuses on yachts between 197 and 295 feet (60 and 90 meters).
While some distinguishing styling elements are visible, there’s not enough for us to suggest the possible exterior designer.
As details become available, and as more photos arrive from Rendsburg in the coming months, we’ll update you accordingly.
