About Megayacht News

Megayacht News is the first, and only, independent website devoted to educating American luxury-yacht owners and buyers about the leading builders, designers, marinas, cruising destinations, and more. Through all-original content, for real stories of real interest, it helps these savvy consumers and their representatives make better-informed decisions when it comes to commissioning and using their yachts.

Megayacht News enjoys monthly traffic of more than 40,000 page views.* Topics include new launches, design proposals, luxury yachting events, marina developments, onboard features, and charter and cruising guides. Of particular interest is the popular “Leadership Series,” featuring Q&As with noteworthy builders, designers, owners, and more.

Megayacht News was named to The Helium Report’s (now Halogen Guides’) best yacht blogs list, and it’s the go-to source for Reuters, CNBC, Forbes.com, The Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, The Sunday Times, CNN.com, and others.

Additionally underscoring its strength, Megayacht News and Yachting Pages Media Group, which specializes in products and services for the superyacht industry, forged a relationship in 2014. The partnership involves editorial contributions across both companies’ multi-media platforms. Furthermore, from 2010 to 2012, an average of one story per week from Megayacht News was syndicated by Superyacht Business magazine in its e-newsletter. Two stories each month were also syndicated on Yachting magazine’s website in 2012. And, through most of 2010, the full daily Megayacht News feed was syndicated by YachtWorld.com and Boats.com. Megayacht News is the only website–indeed, the only media outlet of any kind–to enjoy all of these relationships.

Megayacht News is a longtime proud supporter of the International Superyacht Society and U.S. Superyacht Association. It is further a member of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce in New Jersey.

The Megayacht News app, created in 2013 for both the Android and Apple platforms, features even more all-original content. It provides users with an experience they cannot get elsewhere. The few megayacht-oriented media apps currently available replicate all or nearly all of the same content the magazines and websites feature on their primary platforms. The Megayacht News app does not. It emphasizes exclusive features, like interactive photo galleries and videos, which are among the most popular mobile viewing and engagement activities. It also includes informational resources that let users directly connect with the top yacht builders, designers, event organizers, and more. New features are added every month as well.

The Megayacht News app is available directly from Google Play and the App Store, for both smartphones and tablets.
