Italy-based Dariel Yacht was founded in 2001 by a team frustrated over not being able to find a sporty yet luxurious megayacht tender. The one boat the team built soon caught the eye of other owners and project managers, and it evolved into an in-demand lineup of swift, stylish shuttles. Dariel Yacht is now a few months away from unveiling its newest model, the Dariel DLimo.
Set for a June debut, the Dariel DLimo measures just over 31 feet LOA (9.53 meters) and has a beam of 9’7” (2.95 meters). Styling is by Marino Alfani, with naval engineering by Centro Stile. The Dariel DLimo is capable of carrying up to 15 passengers, so there’s no need to have your crew drive back and forth from the pick-up point to your yacht. The variety of engine packages should ensure reliable performance. Choose from twin 220-hp Volvo Penta D3s or twin 300-hp Volvo Penta D4s, each available as stern drives or jet drives. Dariel Yacht also offers twin 370-hp Yanmar 8LZ stern drives.
Those of you who are environmentally minded will be pleased to learn that a hybrid version and even a fully electric version of the DLimo are available. In addition, Esthec composite decking is standard onboard all versions. Of course, you’re still free to select a variety of wood veneers for the interior of the DLimo cabin.
A long list of items are standard, such as push-release mooring bitts, a shower on the swim platform, and fore and aft openings in the cabin roof. There’s also an extensive options selection. These include underwater lights, the tender’s name in stainless steel lettering and with backlighting, custom gelcoat color, and even a Nespresso coffee maker.
Dariel Yacht has other models in the works, too. There’s the DLimo Drophead, with U-shape seating forward and a removable bimini over the area. Then there’s DarielUP, with fold-down bulkheads to each side amidships and a flip-down swim platform with built-in steps to the water.
