Come next summer, the fourth semi-displacement Admiral Impero from The Italian Sea Group will be cruising with her owners.
This megayacht, illustrated below, measures 131 feet (40 meters) and, like the rest of the series, is a raised-pilothouse design. The other deliveries in the semi-displacement version of the series are Cacos V, Nono, and Tremenda, the latter pictured above and delivered this year. (Cacos V premiered in 2013, while Nono launched in 2014.) All three are slightly smaller than the new unnamed Impero model, but share a technical platform and aluminum construction. Note that The Italian Sea Group also offers a displacement-hull version of the Impero series. In that case, the hull is steel.
As for the new yacht, the buyers, from Northern Europe, are collaborating with The Italian Sea Group’s interior-design department and Gian Marco Campanino. This is customary for the series. Leathers, fabrics, woods, and marbles will reflect subdued tones, setting a contemporary backdrop. The owners want a comfortably elegant atmosphere for the five staterooms. As a matter of fact, two of the four guest staterooms are full-beam VIPs. The master suite sits, as you might expect, on the main deck.
They will enjoy leisurely cruises aboard as well. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesels, the yacht should see upwards of 19 knots at top speed.
