This new explorer vessel exemplifies what sets Rosetti Superyachts apart.
Following the keel laying in May, the new RSY 38M EXP is on schedule for her spring 2021 delivery. She is for experienced owners, looking for a yacht offering comfort and safety in all conditions.
“The 38M EXP fully embodies the philosophy of Rosetti Superyachts, which is to apply the extensive shipbuilding experience of Rosetti Marino to the superyacht sector,” says Fulvio Dodich, RSY CEO and partner. “This experience shines through the project in every detail, from the exterior and interior design to the careful selection of equipment and overall construction quality.”
The decisive and modern exterior lines, naval architecture, and interior layout are by Hydro Tec. To complement it, BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design has a refined interior design.
At 124 feet (37.83 meters) in length with a beam of 29 feet (8.85 meters), the RSY 38M EXP is additionally voluminous, at approximately 400 gross tons. The round-bilge, displacement hull features a bulbous bow, broad and flat stern sections, and an extended skeg. Powered by twin MAN D2868 LE 425 engines, she will cruise between 10 and 11 knots. Electric fin stabilizers will reduce sound levels as much as possible at anchor, too. In addition, a powerful electric bow thruster and independent rudders will provide maximum maneuverability in restricted areas.
The exterior design is classic in proportion but contemporary in style, with taut, angular lines. At the request of owners, the windows and openings are as large as possible. The main saloon, in particular, has large aft windows and sliding doors that offer wide sea views. In addition, two large sliding doors provide access to the cutaway bulwarks on the side decks.
The owners divide the main deck into two main areas: a veranda-style seating area aft and the dining area forward. To starboard, a custom-designed wine cellar acts as a divider between these areas and the owners’ stateroom. Their spacious suite is well distributed, with a fixed side balcony accessible through a sliding glass door.
Generous spaces await guests, too. On the lower deck, they have four comfortable cabins. A large dining table as well as a corner bar with high stools welcomes them to the sundeck. This wide deck also has a hot tub with a waterfall feature, and two showers on the sides. It’s protected forward by a sliding windbreaker door. Finally, a pantry serves the upper-deck lounge.
Crew needs are incorporate, too. The RSY 38M EXP lets them access a laundry, ironing room, and storage space directly from their quarters. The captain, meanwhile, has his cabin adjacent to the integrated bridge, with a large office area.
