Find out why this builder’s vast experience and philosophy set it apart.
While working hard on the construction of the RSY 38m EXP, with delivery next spring, Rosetti Superyachts continues massively investing in itself. This will strengthen its building skills and renovate the yard. Ultimately, the company will further increase its production capability with new sheds for large yachts.
“Rosetti Superyachts is about to make an important investment that will reinforce the brand positioning in the construction of explorer-style yachts in steel and aluminum starting from 35 meters,” says Ermanno Bellettini, CEO of RSY. “In order to expand our production, we need another construction shed that allows us to build larger yachts than the one we already have. The investment is testament to the strategic vision of the entire Rosetti Marino Group and our commitment to increase the size range of our product offering.”
Bellettini has a clear vision about where the company must be in the near future. Specifically, it intends to be one of the top players in terms of yachting excellence. “Rosetti Superyachts aims to become a reference point to all those owners who put reliability, financial solidity, and easy maintenance first,” he explains. “Despite what we might think, owners generally spend relatively short time on board, and at those moments they do not want to run into troubles and want to have the freedom to change course regardless of weather and sea conditions.”
Increasingly, owners turn to shipyards after having developed the project with their trusted naval architects and designers. With RSY, they find the perfect synthesis between the engineering evaluation of the concept, the indisputable quality standards of Rosetti shipbuilding, and compliance with delivery times. “Our philosophy is to provide clients with the certainty that we will approach the work in the best way possible,” states Andrea Giora, sales director. “That means handling the project management of the construction, sourcing the most suitable suppliers for each element of the build, and being flexible in selecting the right materials for a given project. Our vast experience in the oil and gas industry has meant that our project management systems are superior to those typically found in an industry that is renowned for mistakes.”
This is Rosetti Superyachts’ approach to the market from the offset: more analytical and practical, rather than focusing on “building dreams,” “heritage,” or “made in Italy.” “We believe that it is the designers’ and naval architects’ job to create the foundations of the client’s ‘dreams,’” continues Giora. “However, it is our job to match the designed aesthetic as closely as possible, while making practical adjustments to make the project feasible.”
RSY ends 2020 with several customized requests on the way. The yard is ready to offer its engineering, project management, and building skills based on the long history and experience in producing strong commercial vessels.
