This new yacht is for open-air, life-onboard lovers.
The Maiora 35 Exuma draws on the long experience of both Maiora in high onboard livability and AB Yachts in waterjet propulsion. This expertise transforms into innovative features, making the model unique for this boat segment.
Measuring 115 feet in length and 25.8 feet in beam, the Maiora 35 Exuma has waterjet propulsion. Waterjets offer various advantages. For instance, they allow higher speed with superb efficiency, plus an extremely wide range of cruising speeds. They also offer better maneuverability as well as less noise and lack of vibration. There’s yet another motive behind opting for waterjets. You can reach even the most shallow areas and beaches, e.g., of Cat Island, the Abacos, Paradise Island and, indeed, the Exumas. The yacht’s draft is about 4 feet.
Additionally, the Maiora 35 Exuma offers full livable space, brightly lit interiors, smooth long-distance cruising, and privacy for all those onboard. A full-beam infinity aft staircase gives the guests a breathtaking sea sight from the inside. This is what you feel when you are onboard: being one with the outside in a single environment. Guests can enjoy a dinner under the stars thanks to the convertible flybridge. It transforms into an open area thanks to windows to the sides and forward that lower, a sliding roof, and the aft sliding door. They each disappear when fully open.
The Maiora 35 Exuma can accommodate up to 11 guests in five staterooms, all providing exceptional sea views. These include a main-deck full-beam master stateroom featuring floor-to-ceiling windows. A crew of five can enjoy their own cabins and a fully equipped galley on the lower deck.
The newest Maiora 35 Exuma, heading to the Bahamas after her first cruise in the Mediterranean Sea, is a decidedly innovative vessel. The owner specified two helm stations, plus intends to pilot the yacht on his own. She also features two tender garages. One is for the guests, a floodable arrangement for a 22-foot tender that enters the sea laterally. The other is for the crew, with a 12-foot-long tender. Any other kind of toy can stow onboard, too, like a SeaBob, inflatables, paddle boards, diving equipment, and much more.
Powered by three 1,925-hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines or 2,000-hp MTUs, coupled to two steerable MJP waterjets and one central booster, the Maiora 35 Exuma runs at a top speed of 35 knots and cruises efficiently at 28 to 30 knots.
This is the innovative solution that Maiora offers owners who want to live in full contact with the sea, in the open air and free to explore the world, away from the usual stylistic standards in the market.
