These qualities, as well as true custom construction, ensure the superyacht shipyard builds your dream.
CRN is a bespoke shipbuilder designing and building fully custom aluminium or steel and aluminium yachts of 45 meters plus. It’s a brand of professionals and craftspeople who put everything into realizing an idea. That idea, of course, is to build true custom yachts. They’re unique works of art reflecting the owner’s personality and fulfilling their vision to perfection.
Founded in Ancona, Italy in 1963, the yard has always created yachts of peerless beauty. Its cutting-edge solutions set the standard for functional innovation, representing Italian manufacturing at its finest. With well over half a century of success, CRN is a compelling story of remarkable ideas and iconic achievements. These have made it the outstanding brand it remains today.
Each yacht is unique. First and foremost, it’s an individual masterpiece, before being part of the CRN fleet. Starting from a blank sheet, listening to and shaping the client’s desires, CRN develops innovative concepts transforming the owner’s vision. That vision becomes a breath-taking custom yacht through a winning combination of passion and expertise, flexibility, creativity, and commitment.
Styles, colors, materials—in short, everything—is personalized and made to measure. CRN assures the owner this freedom of expression. As a result, owners are the true authors of their own masterpieces.
Each CRN yacht is the fruit of elite R&D, leading-edge technology, and masterly construction skills. The results are there for all to see, in fine-quality amenities, optimized efficiency, and supreme style. Ultimately, it’s engineering perfection.
CRN’s many assets include an impressive production yard. It spans 80,000+ square meters, one of the largest in Europe, too. Additionally, the multi-purpose, private marina vaunts 14 moorings for 24- to 100-meter yachts. State-of-the-art sheds, meanwhile, with latest-generation equipment cater to construction and refit projects alike.
But, the heartbeat of the yard is its people. Specialized engineers, architects, and technicians conceive top-performing hulls and naval platforms with superlative design solutions. The project architect group works with world-class architects and designers helming the yachts’ functional and aesthetic design. This know-how, this passion to excel, combines with profound design experience, advanced shipbuilding techniques, and a constant quest for the most ingenious materials. Altogether, it really makes the difference for an end build of exquisite quality.
An excellent example of what bespoke means for the shipyard is Rio. This steel and aluminium 62-meter saw delivery at the beginning of May. CRN created her in collaboration with Omega Architects, which created the exterior concept, and Pulina Exclusive Interiors for the interior. She is an entirely custom opus with taut, flowing hull lines and a near-vertical bow, reflecting a strikingly dynamic, sporty personality.
Recently, the shipyard also launched the all-aluminium Ciao. While Omega Architects designed her profile in close collaboration with CRN, Massari Design shaped the outdoor areas and the interiors. This 52-meter bespoke yacht is a dynamic and sporty opus revolving around outdoor spaces, for a heightened sense of continuity and connectedness with the interiors.
Presently, CRN is building another three bespoke yachts. Firstly, CRN M/Y 139 is 72 meters. Secondly, CRN M/Y 141 is 60 meters. Lastly, CRN M/Y 143 is 67 meters.
