Call it Crescent City, the Big Easy, or simply New Orleans, the city hosting Super Bowl LIX this weekend is a little more special than usual. Clearly, accommodating the Big Game for the 11th time (above), which ties a record, too, means abundant football-focused activity. Dozens of former players and celebrities are in town as well. Among the most Instagram-worthy attractions, though, are the 827 linear feet (252 meters) of superyachts. Since they’ve been in town a week or more already, chance are you’ve seen a few photos and headlines. These are the Super Bowl superyachts we can confirm are on hand, with some additional history of the Big Game and big boats.

Kismet: 400 feet/122 meters
Yachting aficionados would be hard pressed not to know Kismet belongs to Shad Khan, the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Taking one look at her profile and her rooms—you can charter Kismet—reveals all. Firstly, a leaping, highly polished metal jaguar tucks against the bowsprit. Next, a football perches on the jackstaff. Similarly, another football adorns the flag mast aft. In the saloon, meanwhile, a games table invites you to choose a football or Kismet replica in a special Monopoly edition. Finally, anyone staying on the yacht during the game won’t miss a moment of the action. Two-deck-high video walls are at opposite sides of the saloon’s entrance, each passing through atriums.

DreAMBoat: 295 feet/90 meters
Yet another NFL team owner, this time Arthur Blank of the Atlanta Falcons, is the owner of this yacht. DreAMBoat (her unusual capitalization replicates Blank’s initials) has been in New Orleans since late January. The story behind this 295-footer is pretty unusual. Oceanco, her builder, began her on spec—a size essentially unheard of for spec construction. Blank learned of the opportunity and took delivery about 18 months after he visited the shipyard. Strictly private, DreAMBoat caters to Blank’s extended family, with fun amenities like an alfresco cinema and a diving board. Even so, however, she’s among the most-often-seen Super Bowl superyachts. She was one of more than 60 superyachts that descended on Miami for Super Bowl LIV in 2020, just months after delivery. So, too, was Khan’s previous Kismet, a 312-footer (95-meter).

Relentless: 130 feet/42 meters
Although she is in good company, Relentless isn’t necessarily joining the other Super Bowl superyachts because of the Big Game. Instead, she has been in New Orleans for a while already, following a $6-million investment over nearly two years in nearby Gulfport, Mississippi. The refit primarily went toward new systems and new décor materials like stone soles, marble detailing, and furnishings. Walking around her decks, you could easily forget that this Westport 130 initially launched in 2006 (sistership shown). With accommodations for a party of 10, she offers a lot for new owners to appreciate, since she is for sale.

Rumor Mill Got It Wrong
Despite assertions to the contrary, other sports-team owners don’t have their large yachts in town. Arguably one of the most high-profile team and yacht owners is Jerry Jones, who proudly acquired the Dallas Cowboys in 1989. He’s also proudly owned the yacht Bravo Eugenia since taking delivery in 2018. LOA: 358 feet (109 meters). Despite using her as his warm room for the NFL Draft in 2020, as of press time she was in West Palm Beach, Florida and had no plans to head to New Orleans.
Finally, a word about Dan Snyder, the owner of the 305-foot (93-meter) yacht Lady S. Although he owned the Washington Commanders when he took delivery in 2019, he sold the NFL team about 18 months ago and currently holds no ownership stake in a team.
