A design vision that enhances aesthetics, livability, and connection with the sea. Custom Line Navetta 35 represents the new frontier of the brand’s made-to-measure design. She represents the union of innovation and stylistic continuity, with the Italian engineering excellence that has always distinguished the shipyard. Currently under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, the yacht – 34.5 meters long and 7.7 meters wide – results from collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
Custom Line Navetta 35 consolidates excellence among displacement yachts under 270 GT, expanding its offering in a constantly evolving market. In line with the design language that the Navetta 38 introduced, comfort, livability, and aesthetic refinement are at her core. With exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, Navetta 35 translates the values of Made in Italy to the sea. Specifically, the priorities are generous volumes, fine materials, and absolute comfort. A constant presence throughout the design process, the Custom Line Atelier translates the owner’s tastes into tailor-made interior solutions.
The layout develops over three decks and more than 300 square meters between interior and exterior spaces, offering welcoming environments and spaces for authentic conviviality. Guests are accommodated in five cabins – the owner’s suite on the main deck and four cabins on the lower deck – while the crew has functional and comfortable areas for six members, including the captain’s cabin with private bathroom.
FLUID AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN
In the exterior design, the stylistic language is essential and harmonious. Sculptural surfaces and dynamic lines shape a contemporary profile with a sporty character inspired by the automotive world. The cleanliness of the lines and the continuity between surfaces maximize the visual and physical connection with the sea.
The interiors stand out for the fluid and functional distribution of spaces. The innovative stair core, redesigned for minimal visual impact, creates a discreet connection between the decks and frees the main salon area, which opens into a bright vestibule leading to the owner’s suite. The staircase, concealed by a reflective wall, contributes to the perception of lightness and visual continuity.
The sundeck, measuring 58 square meters, is an open-air oasis of well-being. Owners can enjoy a Lounge area or Sky Bar under the hard top, for example, plus a sunset solarium at the bow and, on request, a panoramic spa pool. The upper deck completes the experience with a large, panoramic cockpit of 44 square meters, a glass-enclosed sky lounge of 23 square meters and, at the bow, a striking sea-facing sunset lounge.
NEARLY INVISIBLE ARCHITECTURE
Among the main stylistic features, the extensive use of glass ensures bright and airy interiors. Large, full-height windows create a fluid connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The freestanding furnishings, entirely custom made and designed by Antonio Citterio, are raised from the floor to amplify the lightness of the spaces and leave the view toward the sea unobstructed. A choice that embodies the idea of an almost transparent naval architecture.
Custom Line Navetta 35 offers maximum customization with three stylistic moods. Firstly, the Light Mood bears a contemporary and natural aesthetic. It features light tones such as ivory and beige, three-dimensional boiserie, and soft fabrics creating a warm and luminous atmosphere. The Contrast Chocolate Mood expresses a bold style, with dark tones and sophisticated material contrasts between leather, bone china lacquers, and Grigio Alpi stone. Finally, the Contrast Oyster Mood recalls the harmony between light and shadow. It combines light and desaturated woods, dark leather, and tone-on-tone fabrics.
The project integrates advanced technical solutions for efficiency, comfort, and sustainability. Custom Line Navetta 35 can incorporate an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, for instance. This reduces NOx emissions by 70 percent in line with IMO Tier III regulations. Overall, the yacht features a spacious and easily accessible engine room. At the stern, the toy garage accommodates a tender up to 5 meters and a waterbike, while among the optional features the McIntosh audio system stands out. Designed for long-range cruising, the yacht has standard Sleipner stabilizing fins and optional Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizers. The standard propulsion with twin 1,400-mhp MAN V12 engines ensures up to 1,800 miles of range. Alternatively, twin 1,622-mhp Caterpillar C32 engines allow a maximum speed of 16 knots (preliminary data). The full-load draft of 2.2 meters (7 feet 2 inches) opens the route to sheltered bays and shallow waters.
