Megayacht News: Real Stories of Real Interest
Megayacht News is the first and only independent website dedicated to American luxury yacht owners and buyers of boats 80 feet (24 meters) and larger—a.k.a. megayachts, or superyachts. Since 2007, we’ve helped these savvy consumers and their representatives make better-informed decisions about enjoying the yachting lifestyle.
Every article we publish is original, not thinly veiled marketing, and focuses on stories that matter. From leading yacht builders and designers to premier marinas and must-visit cruising destinations, Megayacht News is a trusted source of yachting journalism.
Megayacht News attracts more than 50,000 monthly page views.* Our reporting has been cited by Vanity Fair, The Sunday Times, CNN, Forbes, Riviera Radio, and others. (See Megayacht News in the News for more.)
We’ve also built longstanding relationships across the marine media landscape. We partnered with Yachting Pages Media Group from 2014 through 2015 to share editorial content across multimedia platforms. Superyacht Business magazine featured our articles in its weekly e-newsletter from 2010 to 2012, while Yachting magazine published select content monthly in 2012. In 2010, YachtWorld.com and Boats.com syndicated our full daily news feed. No other outlet has matched this range of collaborations.
Megayacht News actively supports the U.S. Superyacht Association, the voice of the large-yacht industry in the United States. Editor Diane M. Byrne has served on its Board of Directors since 2017 and previously served on the board of the International Superyacht Society from 2010 through 2018.
We also support nonprofit organizations making a meaningful impact. Since 2016, we have been a media partner of the International SeaKeepers Society, which advances oceanographic research, conservation, and education through direct engagement with the yachting community. By using private yachts as research platforms, SeaKeepers helps eliminate the burden of vessel costs for scientists, allowing them to focus on their core work.
In 2017, we partnered with Sempre Avanti, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting Italians—individuals, businesses, and organizations—in the United States and Italy. Through services and strategic alliances, Sempre Avanti strengthens shared culture and creates opportunities for growth.
Finally, since 2020, Megayacht News has been a Supporting Organization for She of the Sea, which promotes diversity and inclusion across the yachting industry. And, since 2021, we have also partnered with the Asia Pacific Superyacht Association.
