If you live in the Northeast, it sure hasn’t felt much like spring the past several days. It still doesn’t, despite the unofficial start to summer being here with Memorial Day weekend. To get us in the mood for long, warm days up and down the coasts of the USA, we took a look at summer-y yacht names. Seemingly, we’re not the only ones who love this time of year, judging from the dozen or so that we discovered. Here are some of the great superyacht names incorporating the word “summer” to get you in the mood, too. As a bonus, most of these yachts charter.
Endless Summer
This owner had us at “endless.” A 164-footer (49.9-meter) from Delta Marine in 2017, the yacht Endless Summer (top) was at the sunny and sunny-sounding Sunrise Harbor Marina in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend. As for her amenities, guests can use the inflatable slide to zip their way from the sundeck into the water. The sundeck turns into an alfresco cinema come nighttime. Before the movie starts, however, guests can enjoy cocktails at one of the two outdoor bars, too.
CC-Summer
Among superyacht names, this sounds pretty good to us. Interestingly, her previous name, which many of you may recognize, was also good. She launched from Lürssen as Madsummer in 2019. Her current owner acquired her in 2023. Measuring 312 feet (95 meters), CC-Summer provides acres of deck space to soak in the sun and warmth. Conveniently, she charters for a party of 12, starting at €1.5 million ($1.7 million) per week. A huge pool, with equally ample seating areas, dominates the main aft deck. If you’re staying in the master suite, you have a hot tub all to yourself just outside the sleeping area, on the upper deck.

Summerdance
This 146-foot (44.5-meter) Trinity is currently wrapping up a major refit in Florida, two decades after she launched (above). The owners are preserving the appeal of the original classically American interior, simultaneously adding elegant, contemporary details. Bonville Associates has been working closely with them on the transformation. The owners are previous clients.
Summerwind
Superyacht names like this make us think of Frank Sinatra’s voice emanating from the on-deck speakers. A Lazzara from 2000, the 85-foot (nearly 26-meter) Summewind charters in the Bahams with six guests. Especially interesting, she’s a fast yacht, capable of a 24-knot cruising speed. Her big bow sunpad is a perfect place to enjoy the wind in your hair.
