Superyacht owners and enthusiasts tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves. When their favorite builders and other nautical brands have gear, they’re quite likely to wear their hearts on their backs and heads. Here’s your chance to show your pride in one of the oldest yacht builders in the United States – and the world. Burger Boat Company has launched an online “boatique.”
The shop features plenty of men’s and women’s apparel, from shirts to hats. It has multiple accessories, too. They all represent a Wisconsin-based shipyard that dates to 1863. The name comes from the founder, Henry Brauburger, a German immigrant who arrived in the United States as a child. His family shortened their last name to Burger once stateside. Henry Burger learned shipbuilding in 1857 as an 18-year-old, then began building fishing boats a few years later.

Learn more about the Burger Boat Company “boutique” in this month’s Megayacht News newsletter. Our monthly newsletter features stories you won’t find here on the website.
Among the unique stories, we reveal how some anonymous crewmembers volunteered to assist YachtAid Global in Mexico recently. Although the non-profit often assists communities in need immediately following a natural disaster, it regularly delivers items like school supplies and first aid supplies. The crewmembers in this case pitched in with much-needed assistance for an orphanage, a technical training school (above), and an underfunded ambulance station.
In yet other news, we share new contract details from Tureddi Yachts. Plus, we let you download newly updated cruising regulations for visiting New Zealand.
Finally, the monthly newsletter lets you opt into our popular weekly news digest email. That way you never miss a story. You get the first word about upcoming exclusive website features and interviews, too.
