Discover the cutting-edge vision of cruising aboard the first hybrid CRN superyacht.
M/Y Amor à Vida is the latest masterpiece of design and naval engineering by the Italian shipyard CRN. With sleek and distinctive lines, in steel and aluminum, the yacht is a fully custom 67-metre expressing CRN’s culture of the bespoke. This includes everything from tailored furnishings crafted from sophisticated, highly valued materials to pioneering naval technologies.
The superyacht combines the engineering expertise of CRN and Ferretti Group Superyacht Division and the construction quality of the shipyard with the creativity of world-renowned yacht design firm Nuvolari Lenard. Every detail of the made-to-measure interiors is meticulously crafted in collaboration with Valentina Zannier, Nuvolari Lenard’s interior art director. Moran Yacht & Ship has been working with and representing the owner throughout the entire design and construction process.
Skillful Systems & Technology Selection
Cutting-edge technology, silent comfort, and a heat-recovery system are just some of the features reflecting an evolved vision of cruising. They represent the expert know-how, the bespoke yacht design, and the construction quality characterizing CRN and the Engineering Team at CRN and Ferretti Group Superyacht Division.
Amor à Vida’s propulsion and energy management are based on an innovative hybrid propulsion system, the first for the shipyard. It increases the fuel efficiency of both the main engines and the generators. This results in a smooth and silent cruising experience at the impressive speed of 15 knots, simultaneously minimizing environmental impact.
CRN M/Y Amor à Vida, which is IMO Tier III certified, features a cutting-edge heat-recovery system. It optimizes hot-water management for the pools and the entire plumbing system. By recovering and reusing surplus heat, the system significantly reduces energy consumption and operating costs. At the same time, it ensures that water is available quickly and consistently throughout the yacht for various uses. This includes cleaning the decks and filling the pools.
Quiet Comfort at Sea
Thanks to her special characteristics and exhaustive studies of vibration and noise reduction by the Engineering Team at CRN and Ferretti Group Superyacht Division, the vessel is particularly silent and offers the highest standards in comfort and livability, both in port and when cruising in open waters.
Amor à Vida is powered by two MTU main engines (12V4000 M63, developing 1,500 kW at 1800 rpm) and two synchronous AC electric motors by Siemens Energy (400 volts and 200 kW each). Altogether, these deliver a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The signature value of CRN lies in naval design and construction expertise, combined with the ability to give shape to every request by the owner and his vision. This culture of bespoke excellence spans from initial concept to masterful craftsmanship. It finds its highest expression in this superyacht and throughout every phase of construction, ensuring that each vessel is as distinctive as the owner’s personal journey.
The yacht is available for charter.
