The third 164-foot (50-meter) megayacht built by ISA, Belle Anna was launched and christened on May 24.
ISA’s 50m series megayachts (a.k.a. the ISA 500 series) all share the same engineering and propulsion packages, but they offer owners the ability to customize interior design and exterior styling. A good example of a sistership: ISA’s Liberty, launched last year. The owners of Belle Anna took advantage of custom input as well, requesting an aft profile akin to more traditional megayachts, instead of the signature curving staircases found on several earlier ISA launches.
Belle Anna bears naval architecture by Andrea Vallicelli in collaboration with ISA’s in-house team. A full-displacement design, she has a steel hull and is intended for long-range cruising, with a top speed just shy of 17 knots.
Inside, Belle Anna’s owner wanted the handiwork of Zuretti Design. Details on the décor haven’t been released, though there are accommodations for 10 guests, in addition to the master suite. There’s also a beach club just off the swim platform.
Look for Belle Anna to depart ISA in July and spend time in the Med.
UPDATE, JULY 18, 2012: Belle Anna was handed over to her owners yesterday, a day ahead of schedule. ISA shared the photo at left on its Facebook page to mark the occasion. Note the glass doors behind the crew; those lead to the beach club. It’s a nice change of pace from other megayachts with fold-down platforms, making for a usable area day or night and regardless of rain or shine. Also note the staircases, as mentioned in the original post above.
If you will be at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, you will get a chance to check these and more out yourself, as Belle Anna will be on display by ISA.
