If you spot a megayacht, you’ll spot at least one personal watercraft (PWC) on deck or in a tender garage. Sea-Doo is one of the most well-known and prolific manufacturers, with multiple models each year. The 2026 Sea-Doo RXP-X-325 is especially for owners and guests who want to get more of an adrenaline rush out of their rides.
Firstly, it’s the world’s fastest PWC, hitting a top speed of 70 mph (112 kmh). (Notably, this speed is the limit within the United States, managed electronically. In other countries, the PWC is permitted to reach slightly higher speeds.) On a related subject, according to Sea-Doo, you can go from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96.56 kmh) in a hair over three seconds. The aggressive performance further permits the Sea-Doo RXP-X-325 to cut super-tight turns.
Learn more about this high-performance watercraft in the April edition of the Megayacht News newsletter. Sent to subscribers on a monthly basis, the newsletter includes stories and insights not included in our daily news coverage.
For example, we share the story of Alex Paterson, a crewmember who knows the issues of burnout all too well. Similar to how superyacht owners and guests increasingly want wellness amenities and benefits, he established CrewRenew. It matches captains and crew with onshore options, at significant discounts, too.
You’ll also learn about how an ocean scientist with more than 30 years’ experience is the new chairman of the International SeaKeepers Society. It’s a significant first for the ocean conservation non-profit. Additionally, we share news about the first sailing superyacht from Grand Soleil Yachts, a division of the Italian builder Cantiere del Pardo. We further include details about a new yacht insurance benefit for Safe Harbor Marina customers, courtesy of Chubb.
As always, the monthly newsletter provides you with the first word about upcoming exclusive website features and interviews. You can also opt into our popular weekly news digest email. That way you never miss a story
