Some builders do the equivalent of dipping their toes into bigger boats. Adler Yacht does not seem interested in being so conservative. It’s not just building the first Adler Suprema X on spec, but also engineering her for thrilling speeds. Furthermore, it’s engineering her to run in all-electric, no-emission mode.
Measuring 82’8” (25.25 meters), with a 19’8” (6.04-meter) beam, the Adler Suprema X follows the same construction method as her smaller sister. That sister is the Adler Suprema, which debuted in 2016. Therefore, carbon fiber composite with Kevlar characterizes the build. As for performance, you can opt for traditional diesels. However, eco-oriented buyers may appreciate a propulsion package developed with Hybrid Marine Solution. Two Caterpillar C18s pair with two electric motors and gensets, along with battery banks. With just the Caterpillars running, the Adler Suprema X should see 30 knots max. In electric-only mode, the megayacht should cruise at 10 knots.
With styling by Nuvolari-Lenard, the new megayacht model puts accommodations for eight at your disposal. These include the master, a VIP, and two guest cabins. The master, sitting full beam, has its own access, too. Up on deck, meanwhile, anticipate a traditional saloon and dining area, along with the galley and wheelhouse.
Whether in electric mode or at anchor, the alfresco areas of the Adler Suprema X should please as well. A hot tub awaits on the foredeck, while a variety of configurations can occur up top. In fact, Alder Yacht has two different superstructure designs, depending on your preferences. For more open-air enjoyment, choose the T-top design (top). Biminis as well as a hardtop, fitted with a skylight, provide shade when needed. If you prefer more interior space, then go with the skylounge version (above). Further in this configuration, the wheelhouse moves up from the main deck.
Adler Yacht has not indicated which superstructure design will debut first, anticipating a buyer will step in. Regardless, look for the yacht to debut in 2019.
