At 225 gross tons—100 gross tons more than high-volume competitors—the first Lazzara UHV 100 yacht has delivered on her promise. She provides higher volume in her size range, to lend the feeling of being aboard a much larger megayacht.
Hull number one in the series launched on April 16 in Turkey. “UHV” stands for Ultra High Volume. An equally healthy 2,800 square feet (260 square meters) of enclosed living areas spread out across the yacht’s decks. This 100-footer (30.5-meter) additionally affords owners and guests plenty of alfresco areas, totaling 1,345 square feet (125 square meters).

Since the great outdoors is where most cruisers like to spend their time, they should especially appreciate the foredeck aboard the Lazzara UHV 100 yacht. The in-house design team created an expansive lounge that boasts 180-degree, elevated views. Naturally, it includes a perennially popular feature for superyachts, a hot tub. A sunning area faces the pool, too, directly adjoining a seating/observation area. The entire owner’s party of 10 can gather on the seating, enjoying cocktails or taking in the sights while heading to a destination. Although it’s especially inviting when out at anchor, the foredeck lounge can retain a level of privacy when in a marina.
As much as Lazzara’s design team created appealing interior spaces like the main-deck master suite, the story behind the Lazzara UHV 100 yacht is also an engineering one. The advanced composite hull doesn’t have multiple through-hulls, for instance. Lazzara developed an integrated sea-chest system, which also has a patent. Redundant systems are further aboard, and the hot tub water recirculates through filters for reuse.

The superyacht remains available for sale, for €13. 495 million (about $15.879 million at press time). Also in build at the shipyard are the first UHV 160 yacht. The UHV 130 series, meanwhile, is advancing in the design stages.
