The Vintage Series initiated by Codecasa several years ago will see a new member of the family hit the water this summer. She’s the Codecasa 43 Full Beam, known for now as Hull F76.
The 141-foot (43-meter) megayacht employs a hull similar to that of the Codecasa 42 Vintage Series, a 138-footer (42-meter). Half of the extra length benefits the crew’s maneuvering in the tender garage. The rest is distributed throughout the rest of the yacht.
The Codecasa 43 Full Beam also differs in, as you can guess by the name, having a full-beam interior. Specifically, the master suite (above) is full beam. It includes an office, too. Maximum beam is 29’5” (9 meters).
The owners aren’t the only ones enjoying more creature-comfort space, though. The captain and crew do as well. Design Studio Spadolini and Codecasa’s in-house team created a bridge-deck captain’s cabin. It has an en suite bath, too, as you might expect. The Codecasa 42 included the captain’s cabin below decks, with the rest of the crew. The eight crew housed aboard the Codecasa 43 Full Beam should appreciate the difference as much as the captain.
Less dramatic but still welcome changes for the Codecasa 43 Full Beam occur both inside and outside. Inside, the atmosphere is brighter due to larger ports. It should be particularly bright in the stairway flowing through the three decks, since it’s flanked by some of the same ports. Hallways are larger, too. Outside, the Codecasa 43 Full Beam has a seating/socializing spot forward of the wheelhouse.
The steel-hulled Codecasa 43 Full Beam should see the same performance as her smaller sisters. Light-displacement top end should be 16½ knots. Best range is expected at 11 knots: 4,000 nautical miles. The power package is a pair of twin Caterpillar 3512Cs.
