A shroud of secrecy has kept her name out of the public eye. However, the Feadship yacht Stella M, a.k.a. Project 827, is finally in full view. She celebrated her launch this week at Feadship’s Amsterdam shipyard, with unusual features inside her five decks.

Further previously known as the Feadship project Sakura, the yacht sold in 2023 during construction to her current owner. The nearly 236-footer (72-meter) follows modern tradition through floor-to-ceiling windows on more than one deck. Of course, these brighten the interior, and came make it feel as if there’s no barrier between inside and outside. Additionally, the superyacht keeps with what several owners prioritize these days, that being flexible spaces.
Where the owner of this Feadship truly brought his own personality to the table, though, are in the arrangement and the décor. Firstly, the yacht Stella M has a deck reserved for himself. Typically, much larger megayachts boast a fully private level for owners (or principal charterers, in the case of a charter yacht). It’s possible here because the pilothouse is raised a level. Naturally, the bedroom takes advantage of the forwardmost area, for the best views. Whether first thing in the morning or the last thing before falling asleep, those views come thanks to full-height glass, too. Yet another nice feature, the owners have a private breakfast area outside, along with a hot tub.

Furthermore, the owner of the yacht Stella M is prioritizing the main aft deck for enjoying time with his multi-generational family. A 23-foot-long (7-meter-long) swimming pool certainly will get the lion’s share of attention and use. Conveniently, grown-ups can keep a watchful eye on the kids due to sunlounges alongside the pool. When anyone wants to take a dip in the ocean instead, Feadship’s De Voogt studio styled teak-laid, wide steps down to the swim platform.
Finally, the interior of the main deck has gotten special treatment. All of the family members have staterooms here—two VIP suites and four traditional staterooms. Furthermore, the VIPs can convert to an extra-ample, full-beam (41-foot/12-meter) suite. From these staterooms to the social areas and the owners’ deck, the décor combines an intriguing showcase of Japanese and Scandinavian influences, from FM Architettura. Although images are not available, the concept likely translates to clean, crisp lines and a decided lack of lavishness, while still creating a richly welcoming atmosphere.

With a wellness area off the swim platform, an elongated sundeck, and diesel-electric propulsion, Stella M is in the final stages of outfitting. Sea trials will begin soon. Delivery will also take place within the next few months.
