Two Sirena 88 megayachts will be cruising North American waters within the next year. They are just two of five contracts sold for the new series, following the semi-custom yacht’s debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival last September.
With headquarters in Istanbul and a U.S. office in Fort Lauderdale, Sirena Yachts created the Sirena 88 as its flagship. The shipyard also created the yacht to be roomier than similar offerings on the market. “We’re talking about a 7.1-meter/23’2” beam,” says Ali Onger, Sirena’s commercial director. “There is nothing else like that in this size bracket.” She’s further swift, with a reported 25-knot top speed under 1,550-hp MANs. “Its range is impressive, too,” Onger continues, “around 2,100 nautical miles at 9 knots. All these factors are serious advantages for our clients.”
With naval architecture by German Frers and interior design by Cor D. Rover Design, the series additionally allows clients to personalize spaces. As long as your choices don’t change the engineering or other technical aspects, you can have up to five staterooms aboard. This includes a main-deck master suite forward. In addition, your guests can relax around the bow pool, given sunbeds to each side. Or, if you’d rather some more privacy, a hot tub sits on the upper deck, accompanied by seating and a bar.
Sirena Yachts has not disclosed the semi-custom choices for the five buyers thus far. However, one of the yachts sees delivery next month. The next Sirena 88 follows toward the end of the summer. Delivery for the third contract should take place by the end of the year. The fourth and fifth contracts, meanwhile, should be ready for hand over in April and June of next year.
