Making her exhibition debut this week at the Monaco Yacht Show, Ann G took to the waters of Norway for her inaugural cruise over the summer.
Ann G was more than three years in the making by Heesen Yachts, a fully custom megayacht measuring 164 feet (50 meters). From her styling, a mixture of soft and strong lines, to the multiple stone mosaics complementing her Art Deco interior, she reflects strong input from her owner. Even the shapes of the mast and the exterior handrails were designed to his specifications. Furthermore, the paint adorning Ann G’s hull, named Dark Night Blue, is a custom-blended color.
With accommodations for 10 in the owner’s party, walnut and Macassar ebony flowing throughout the interior, a sculpture rising through the stairway, and a substantial beach club with a bar, a hammam, and a gym, Ann G invites guests to alternately open their eyes wide and then close them in relaxation. If you take a tour, note, too, how her doorways are extra wide, something often overlooked when there’s a dazzling decor to soak up.
