If you want to stand out from the crowd, Shotel delivers. This concept design, by Ivan Erdevicki, embraces aggressive, sporty lines and artistic shapes. They command fellow cruisers to take a long extra look. Simultaneously the megayacht affords you the ability to get where your party of 14 wants to go swiftly and efficiently.
Erdevicki came up with Shotel as an evolution and extension of the Gotham Project, a bold sport-yacht design. Even though he considers each a sport megayacht, though, the new concept definitely differs, and not just in styling. She’s larger, for example, at 198’5” (60.5 meters), with a beam of 34’4” (10.5 meters). Shotel additionally differs from so many sport-yacht proposals on the market, too. To wit, a healthy gross tonnage of 780 means she won’t suffer the volume limitations sleek projects usually have.
Yet another aspect setting Shotel apart is the construction method. Erdevicki designed her with an aluminum hull and carbon fiber superstructure elements. The latter notably includes the wing boards, which are the freestanding, cantilevered features characterizing the aft area of her upper deck. Shotel’s fixed bimini will be in carbon fiber, too.
Drawing 9’8” (3 meters) and with an anticipated top speed of 24 knots, thanks to 3,688-hp engines, the megayacht should further have a range of 3,800 nautical miles. Wherever you decide to travel, both when you’re en route and at anchor, Shotel puts plenty of leisure attractions at your disposal. Highlights include a pool aft, fold-down hull sides, and of course a beach club. Follow a traditional layout for the interior, with a main saloon, formal dining, and master suite all on the main deck. Request changes if you so wish, but note that six double guest staterooms can all fit below decks. The toys you plan to tote all stow in a foredeck locker, with two launching davits.
