The Italian Sea Group continues its march into boundary-pushing designs. If the lines of the Tecnomar Power Cat 133 yacht (above) don’t convince you, wait until you see those of an explorer it also has.
The two projects are among three that The Italian Sea Group teased at last September’s Monaco Yacht Show. The third yacht is the Tecnomar 46m EVO 155, an addition to its sporty EVO series. However, at the time, the Group didn’t release details of the three, nor profile drawings.
It’s still keeping most of the technical details close to the vest. But, these first glimpses are for stimulating client conversations. The Tecnomar Power Cat 133 yacht certainly will be a topic of discussion. She particularly appeals not just to catamaran enthusiasts, but also those who want something more futuristic-looking. The 133-footer (40-meter) borrows her styling from the larger catamaran This Is It, which the Group delivered a few weeks ago. Automotive influences are apparent in their shared curves. Abundant glass in the new trideck keeps with current superyacht trends, too.

At 499 gross tons, this catamaran concept boasts big volume. She additionally boasts big spaces, thanks to the twin-hull configuration. The Tecnomar Power Cat 133 yacht has upwards of 3,229 square feet (300 square meters) of alfresco leisure areas alone. Especially attractive, portions of the two hulls fold down to form a giant swim platform. Altogether, the platform spans 52 feet (16 meters). Compare this to the already-ample 47-foot (14.3-meter) beam. An infinity pool, meanwhile, perches fully aft on the sundeck.
Although The Italian Sea Group doesn’t mention the total accommodations, the project should be able to sleep a party of 10. For now, the team does say that the master suite sits forward on the main deck, with access to the private alfresco lounge. Two VIP suites, meanwhile, are on the main deck, too, each with balconies. Sustainability-minded owners and families should further note that the Tecnomar Power Cat 133 yacht will come with solar panels. The shipyard plans to integrate about 754 square feet (70 square meters) of panels, in fact, into the side arches and the sundeck roof.
The second concept, the Admiral Explorer 50m Adventure yacht (below), has some unusual features, too. Her styling, for instance, is less rugged than many adventure-oriented projects. The 164-footer (50-meter) also has creature comforts that you wouldn’t expect of an explorer, like a panoramic pool, plus folding platforms for more space. The owners get a private pool as well, additionally with a glass bottom. It’s forward on a dedicated owners’ deck, along with a private sunning area.

The Admiral Explorer 50m Adventure yacht naturally treats guests to special features. Family or friends staying in one of the three VIP suites, for example, have private access to an alfresco space. That stateroom notably has cantilevered windows, which should make for remarkable views. All three VIP suites are on the main deck, while the two remaining guest staterooms are below decks. The unusual layout should make for sizable accommodations.
Of course, fitting for an explorer, the Admiral Explorer 50m Adventure yacht has a touch-and-go helipad up top.
Finally, the Tecnomar 46m EVO 155 (below) joins the multi-model EVO series, including the successful Tecnomar EVO 120 yacht. Similar to the explorer design, this motoryacht has just two guest staterooms below decks. Two VIP suites complement the master suite on the main deck. While conversation and TV-viewing lounges are among the interior areas, the emphasis is on outdoor living. Therefore, the 155-footer (46-meter) beckons guests to enjoy a pool with panoramic views, fully forward on the upper deck. Conveniently, and keeping the area quite social, it’s in proximity to a big sunning space that can double as a dining area. It, too, has nearly uninterrupted views.

Down at the waterline, the Tecnomar 46m EVO 155 has a sizable beach club, usable whether it’s sunny or raining. Two folding platforms open it up and connect with the swim platform, ideal when the weather is cooperative. Cool or rainy days don’t matter, though, because of a transom window. That brings in natural light to the lounge.
The Tecnomar 40m Cat 133 yacht, Admiral Explorer 50m Adventure yacht, and Tecnomar 46m EVO 155 are all available for further client input.
