Part of the Oyster Superyachts lineup, the Oyster 100 is positioned as a first step into megayacht ownership. Oyster collaborated with Dubois Naval Architects to ensure the 100 offered a good deal of volume—more volume, in fact, that other sailing yachts in this size range. A finalist in the 2012 International Superyacht Society design awards, the first Oyster 100, Sarafin, shows how the build and design teams succeeded in this regard. From the upper saloon, open to a lower lounge and dining area, and to the three staterooms, spaces are well proportioned and adorned with warm, traditional soft goods.
Note, too, that Sarafin, as well as all Oyster 100s, meets Lloyds ✠100A1 SSC Yacht Mono G6 MCH classification and the MCA LY2 Code. It’s rare enough to find a similar-size megayacht meeting one or the other, so meeting both is significant.
