The semi-custom Baglietto DOM series has caught on, with eight models selling over the past two years. Due to clients wanting something a little smaller than the current models, the shipyard has introduced the DOM 115 yacht. She’s therefore the entry level in the series, which includes the DOM 133.
In fact, the DOM 133 was a starting point for this smaller sistership. “We embarked upon this project to meet many requests from clients who had appreciated the core strengths of the DOM 133, but were looking for a smaller yacht,” says Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s CCO. Despite her size, she retains the steel hull and aluminum superstructure that the larger models feature. She additionally features styling and interior design by Studio Vafiadis.
Unusually, the DOM 115 yacht features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. It was purposeful, though, in keeping with the rest of the series. Also in keeping with the series, the accommodations and overall general arrangement for 10 people are semi-custom.
Ensuring owners and guests feel a sense of spaciousness and calm connection to the sea, main- and upper-deck spaces open up to the outside. Specifically, the sliding-glass doors between the saloon and aft deck disappear into the structure when they open. The floor-to-ceiling glass to each side of the skylounge, meanwhile, opens, too, which in concert with the aft glass doors transforms the sensation of sitting inside.
Further open, the Baglietto DOM 115 yacht’s aft deck is multi-level, with wide steps—also flanking a pool—cascading down to the swim platform. All of this alfresco space is for dining, sunning, and taking in the views at anchor or at the expected 14½-knot top speed. Hull number one is relying upon twin MAN diesels, although hybrid propulsion is available, too.
Delivery of hull number one is expected in May 2025. Specifics on the decor likely will be revealed in the coming months.
