Baltic Yachts expects to start construction on its newest model, the Baltic 116 Custom seen here, next month.
The Baltic 116 Custom, measuring 116’5” (35.5 meters), was commissioned this summer by an owner who enjoys high-performance cruising and family trips. The megayacht will bear a 27-foot (8.25-meter) beam, and thanks to a lifting keel, draft will range from 11’5” to 18 feet (3.5 to 5.5 meters). Construction will be fiberglass and carbon fiber, with an all-carbon-fiber hardtop.
Naval architecture is by judel/vrolijk, and interior design is by Nauta Yachts. The two design houses collaborated on exterior styling, too. No details are available on the decor yet, though three guest cabins will accompany the master stateroom. A captain and four crewmembers will also be aboard.
Delivery of the Baltic 116 Custom should be in 2014.
