Introducing a sub-100-foot megayacht makes sense for the growing newcomers to this end of the market. Offering one that boasts better fuel economy and range makes sense, too. These are some of the facts behind the Amer 94 series from Amer Yachts. Baccarat is among the newest Amer 94 deliveries, handed over just a few months ago.
The Amer 94 series offers owners a choice of multiple stateroom configurations. Baccarat has four staterooms, all below decks. Both the master and the VIP are full beam, too. Alternate arrangements include three staterooms, where all can be full beam, too, or five staterooms. Regardless of head count, crew’s quarters are below decks, with Baccarat having three hands onboard.
The semi-custom Baccarat makes quite a statement with her decor. Bookmatched white onyx slabs lead the way, literally and figuratively, through the saloon and dining area. Yet another marble rims the room and the bed in the master stateroom.
Baccarat, like her sisters, was designed around the Volvo Penta IPS system. She’s equipped with triple 900-hp IPS 1200 engines, the most powerful offering in the IPS lineup. IPS is proven to have a 30-percent lower fuel compared to traditional-drive engines. It also increases range by about 40 percent compared to them. The Amer 94 series generally sees a top end of around 30 knots. Baccarat is in keeping with that, hitting a reported 28 knots.
Baccarat, with a 20’7” (6.3-meter) beam, is also available for charter for €50,000 per week (about $53,125 at press time).
