The first megayacht from Sunreef Yachts hit the water this month. It also marked the launch of the world’s second-largest sloop catamaran.
The first model in Sunreef’s 102 Double Deck series, the yacht was officially christened Ipharra after a crane lowered her into the water. While she didn’t have her mast or boom fitted at the time, they’ve since been put into place.
The all-aluminum Ipharra is being delivered next month and will charter in the Med this summer. Among her features: a full-beam stateroom forward, enjoying unobstructed panoramic views, since the mast is on the flying bridge.
Here’s how the superyacht was moved from land to sea on launch day.
