Fresh from a refit lasting a few months, the Lürssen-built Apoise is now longer and looking even more appealing for charter. The megayacht also bears a new name, Titania.
The refit, which took place at Lürssen as well, saw at least 13 feet (four meters) added to her original 220-foot (67-meter) length. The goal was to transform some of the superyacht’s spaces, making them further useful. Specifically, of Titania’s six decks, three received a good deal of attention.
First, the two-level sundeck now has a larger, glass-enclosed gym. The extra length of Titania also allowed for the creation of a private massage area in here.
A further change was the addition of a second master suite. Previously, the sole master suite was in the traditional location, forward on the main deck and full beam. Now, there’s another one on the upper deck, replacing what was previously the VIP stateroom. The longer length of the megayacht made it possible to add a private massage room inside the stateroom, too. Four guest staterooms remain below decks, and all guests get around via an elevator connecting all decks.
And finally, another priority was transforming the transom into a higher-end beach club. The swim platform, which previously was mostly centered between curving stairs leading from the main aft deck, is longer and wider. Guests can still use it as a good spot to board watertoys and dive into the water, but it’s also more suited now as a relaxation space. That’s due to the beach club lounge and sauna tucked just inside the redesigned transom door.
The interior design, featuring work by Zuretti Design as well as Rebekah Caudwell Design, remains lush and extravagant, with flame-mahogany paneling.
Titania should be available for charter again this month.
