September marks the start of boat-show season, and the first big one for the megayacht market is next week, the Cannes Boat Show. While the Cannes Boat Show has long been focused on yachts of various lengths, the location and especially the opportunity to take clients out on sea trials have made it increasingly attractive to exhibitors and buyers alike in the megayacht size range.
Among the megayachts making their debuts at the show, which runs from September 10 to 15, are:
- Azimut 80
- Cantiere delle Marche’s Stella di Mare (pictured)
- Moonen Shipyards’ 100 Explorer and Sofia
- Benetti Classic 121
- Canados 120 and 106
- Mangusta 92
- Permare Amer Cento
- Couach 2600 Fly (master stateroom shown below), plus the new Hornet megayacht tender
- Sanlorenzo SD122 and SL104
We’ll be at the show and not just visiting some of the megayachts, but also taking sea trials. We’ll have full Megayacht News Onboard reports with performance figures in the coming weeks.
