These days, it’s not enough to “just” have watertoys aboard. Take a peek inside the tender garages of some megayachts, and you’ll see tenders color coordinated to match the mothership.
Well, the owner of at least one megayacht is taking the concept a bit further. He’s tapped Superyacht Tenders and Toys for a handful of ultra-amped-up PWCs.
The image gallery here gives you a good idea of what they’ll look like. While the images are samples, they feature some of the options this particular owner wanted. He owns three Sea-Doo RXT 260s, which will be getting custom paint colors, teak footbeds, and seat cushions made of Fendi fabric.
Superyacht Tenders and Toys is working with Venom Design to execute the looks. Superyacht Tenders and Toys is perhaps best known for procuring various standard watertoys for clients, but it also will help owners obtain highly specialized ones, and even customize their current tenders. As for Venom Design, it specializes in tailoring not just PWCs but also boats, planes, and helicopters to clients’ requests.
Besides the options being incorporated on the three Sea-Doo models, Superyacht Tenders and Toys and Venom Design can execute pretty much anything. Want your yacht’s name embroidered on the seat? Done. Want exotic cushion coverings, like ostrich leather or crocodile? You’re in good company, as other clients have requested it, too. The handle bars on your waterbike will be trimmed to match, of course. (Take note of the handle bars in the photo for an example.) Plenty more options are available, such as massaging seats, an iPod docking system and speakers, and lighting.
