The smallest displacement megayacht from Custom Line has her own hull form, plus a few more model-exclusive features. You can step aboard to inspect the Custom Line Navetta 30 at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Measuring 93 feet (28.43 meters) with a healthy beam by comparison (nearly 24 feet, or 7.3 meters), the yacht keeps the family tradition of featuring a flying bridge. Simultaneously, she emphasizes good range, like her sisters, too. The Custom Line Navetta 30 should achieve 2,150 nautical miles at 10 knots with the standard twin 800-mhp MANs. Interestingly, hull number one has one of the two optional engine packages. Specifically, it’s 1,000-mhp MANs. The other option kicks power up to 1,200 mhp, still with MANs.
To ensure owners and guests enjoy the ride as much as the destination, the megayacht has some enviable creature comforts. For example, deck heights throughout exceed 6’6” (2 meters). To emphasize indoor-outdoor living, furnishings and finishes on deck and inside are similar. In addition, since the main deck spans the full beam, both the saloon and master cabin look and feel big. Situating the master on the main deck means indoor dining takes place one deck up. This is one of three decks the Custom Line Navetta 30 includes, further surprising.
From the four guest staterooms to the upper-deck lounge, the Custom Line Navetta 30 bears interior design by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The studio puts a spin on nautical decor by introducing carbon fiber accents as well as using different composites for textures. Still, though, you’ll find traditional colors like blues traditional materials like teak and leather.
Tradition meets modern ideas outside, too. Filippo Salvetti, who has worked with Custom Line’s parent company, Ferretti Group, on a few models, wanted the project to look sportier. He reduced the rake of the superstructure forward, plus with the shipyard determined that raising the joints between the hull and superstructure would help, too.
Expect to see the first Custom Line Navetta 30 on American shores sometime in late 2020 or early 2021.
