The last full week of March marked an important occasion for Custom Line. The Italian megayacht brand launched the Navetta 30 hull number two. Not only that, but the launch was the seventh in three months across all its models.
This displacement yacht—part of a series that premiered last year—is deceivingly traditional in design. She has the look of a cruiser that won’t suddenly become outdated in the years to come. However, Custom Line incorporates multiple modern concepts relating to life on the water. For example, customers want more space for more quality time with family. As a result, this 93-footer (28.43-meter) is quite beamy, at about 24 feet (7.3 meters). This makes the open-plan main deck feel even more voluminous. Furthermore, extensive glass helps virtually eliminate closed-in barriers.
A triumvirate of Italian design teams came together to create the Custom Line 30. Filippo Salvetti, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, and Custom Line Atelier (the builder’s own division) all contributed to her looks. Although the shipyard hasn’t disclosed decor details for the Navetta 30 hull number two, headroom is upwards of 6’6” (2 meters) throughout. Additionally, the master suite sits forward on the main deck, for a little more exclusivity and privacy.
The owners do intend to entertain and relax with guests, of course, primarily outside. Ample lounging spaces sit fore and aft, with sunning further possible at the bow. Meals and good conversations will be the main focuses on the aft deck. Since the sliding-glass doors just forward here can stay open, the aft deck and saloon can become one super-size indoor-outdoor lounge, too.
The owners plan to spent the summer season cruising the Med.
