The last days of May saw this 39-meter (128-foot) motoryacht slip into the water at Hakvoort Shipyard.
Originally expected to be christened Pretty Woman, but for sale for €19.775 million (approximately $23.75 million), the megayacht is currently being referred to by her build number, YN 245. She has a layout conducive to both charter and private cruising. As you’d expect, the owner’s suite is on the main deck, containing a study in addition to a walk-in wardrobe a few paces away from the king-size bed. Four guest staterooms are below decks, with berths that can be arranged as doubles or twins. Guests who tend to over-pack will appreciate the aft two staterooms, since they feature walk-in closets. French oak flooring lends additional appeal throughout the guest area.
Michela Reverberi designed the interior, which is nautical in nature but with modern twists. One of the highlights: the central stairway. Teak and illuminated glass panels are interspersed along the wall. A handful of bars inside and outside, along with multiple relaxation and sunning areas, also lend appeal.
The steel-hulled superyacht was styled by Cor D. Rover, with naval architecture by Azure Naval Architects. Her round-bilge form is intended to handle ocean crossings, and her 2.45-meter (eight-foot) draft should allow her to explore some island chains on both sides of the Atlantic. Twin Caterpillar C18 DI-TAs are expected to permit a 12.5-knot top end and a 10.5-knot cruise speed, both at full load.
