Following the reveal of the Mangusta GranSport 48 and Oceano 55 at the recent Monaco Yacht Show, Overmarine Group is now letting you virtually experience their spaces.
While the two new megayacht models share some similarities, they are distinctly different. Take the Oceano 55, for example. She’s the second long-range cruiser from the builder, and therefore more traditional in styling. This, from a company renowned for its maxi opens. As a long-distance traveler, the 182-foot (55.5-meter) Oceano 55 should see a range exceeding 5,000 miles at 12 knots. She’ll be built with a steel hull, too. And since enjoying the journey is a key concept, the Oceano 55 puts a variety of alfresco amenities at your disposal. The 1,722-square-foot (160-square-meter) sundeck can include loose lounges, dining, and a bar. Inside, the suggested decor brims with white, light tones. You’re free to personalize the spaces for a party of 12, as per Overmarine’s usual practice. Just don’t eliminate the 16’x16’ (5×5-meter) foredeck pool, because it’s a terrific private space to relax. It has a glass wall, too, for an infinity effect, as the video here shows:
The video for the Mangusta GranSport 48 also reveals a foredeck pool. Though, it’s a glass-bottomed one, which doubles as a skylight for the master head. The Mangusta GranSport 48 also emphasizes (as her name states) sporty lines. They’re more in keeping with traditional Mangustas, as is the emphasis on speed. The 157’7” (48.06-meter) GranSport 48 should top out at 26 knots. As the builder puts it, you can enjoy your morning coffee in Monaco and arrive in Ibiza in time for late-night fun. But, speed is not provided at the expense of fuel consumption. The GranSport 48 is the first Mangusta with a fast-displacement hull form. Anticipated fuel-burn figures aren’t available. But, range should be 3,800 miles at 12 knots, better than you may expect of the brand.
Check out the GranSport 48’s three-sided beach club (the Oceano 55 also has one), flying-bridge dining, and more, along with the suggested layout and decor:
