Meet Minu, which represents the 20th SD92 megayacht that Sanlorenzo has launched since introducing the series six years ago.
Since “SD” stands for “semi-displacement,” Minu emphasizes leisurely speeds and therefore lower fuel consumption. Top end is typically 17 knots, with a best-range cruise coming at 11 knots (1,660 nautical miles), with twin MTU diesel engines. As the photo here shows, the megayacht has full walkaround decks, which should make the tasks of the crew of four easier.
Since Sanlorenzo allows clients to personalize the interior, Minu’s owner selected oak for wall paneling as well as soles. It’s complemented by white Calcutta marble in the en suite heads above and below deck (the master is on the main deck). The owner also had a choice between three and four guest staterooms below decks, but the yard does not specify which layout Minu’s owner, from Germany, selected. Regardless, he seems to have quite a liking for Italian-style products, as pretty much every piece of furniture inside and on deck is from a design company in the country.
Other highlights of the Sanlorenzo SD92: a tender garage, a hardtop over the flying bridge, and a main-deck galley.
