Meet hull 4014 in the Westport W130 series. She rolled out of her build shed this week.
The trideck W130 has seen a number of deliveries since its debut at the 2001 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The series features naval architecture by William Garden and styling done in house in conjunction with Taylor Olson. It’s also seen some subtle changes in terms of configuration. One popular change that was made a few years ago: The W130 has a seating/observation area nestled at the base of the wheelhouse.
Westport has not divulged the decor highlights of hull 4014. The semi-custom W130 series lets owners infuse their own style throughout. Mahogany has been the standard choice for relaxation areas for 15 years, as has anigre for the crew’s quarters. Many owners of W130 deliveries appreciate the hidden crew-service door in one of the below-decks staterooms. It’s behind an art niche, letting the stews tidy up rooms quickly and efficiently while guests are out and about.
The W130 accommodates an owner’s party of 10. Naturally, you’ll find the master is forward on the main deck, with two king-size VIPs and two twins below decks. A crew of seven are also accommodated aboard. Cruise speed is a reported 20 knots, under twin MTU 12V 4000 Series power. Best range comes at 12 knots, a reported 2,500 nautical miles.
